Zooey Deschanel Blames Nicole Kidman for her grumpy face on The Ellen Degeneres show. The Actress was dishing about presenting an award at the Emmy's with "Big Bang Theory" star, Jim Parsons when she had gotten overly excited when they announced Louis C.K. as the winner. When Ellen asked if she knew him C.K., "the actress laughed, "No, I don't know him."

Then, Ellen decided to pull up another photo of her on the red carpet when paparazzi caught her making a grumpy face. Upon finally making her arrival during the a long car line, she had realized that she arrived the same time Nicole Kidman did and got really confused with the photographers who were flashing back and forth. When she finally decided to just wait and made an awkward pose unbeknownst to her they began taking more photos of her. She said, "She's a movies star, and I'm like give it up for the movie star, and I'll just stand here like this," as she posed for the audience. She then pointed to the picture and said, "Clearly that's the face of someone that's given up."

Zooey Deschanel plays "Jess," a quirky, fun loving girl who moves into an apartment with three guys on "The New Girl." The actress was also nominated for an Emmy in an acting category this year, but didn't win.
