Madonna says her Obama, "Black Muslim" comment was made deliberate. A video clip of Madonna's speech about freedom during her concert in Washington, D.C. went viral after she called President Obama a "Black Muslim". She added, "Now, it's so amazing and incredible to think that we have an African-American in the White House ... we have a black Muslim in the White House ... it means there is hope in this country, and Obama is fighting for gay rights, so support the man."

Immediately, people began attacking the 54- year old singer profanity filled speech and her misinformed comments. Madonna issued a statement today saying, "I was being ironic on stage. Yes, I know Obama is not a Muslim - though I know that plenty of people in this country think he is. And what if he were?" She added, "The point I was making is that a good man is a good man, no matter who he prays to. I don't care what religion Obama is - nor should anyone else in America."

Even though, it is a known fact that Obama is a practicing Christian, he was bashed by groups that believed he was a secret Muslim in 2008, during his first presidential run.

Grasping the attention of millions during her "MDNA" North American tour, Madonna has openly shown her support for the President while stripping down into her underwear and stenciling "OBAMA" on her lower back. The singer told the audience that she wouldn't take it off until he was re-elected for a second term.
