Britney Spears Hair 2012: 'X-Factor' Judge Highlights Blonde Locks with Rainbow Extentions

"X-Factor" judge Britney Spears has uniquely transformed her natural blonde locks once again - but this new hairdo' didn't require an impromptu hair salon visit or the use of an electric razor. Instead, the 30-year-old songstress has added some fun and funky, rainbow-colored extensions to her long golden mane. During this weekend's iHeartRadio Music Festival, Spears took the stage with television personality Ryan Seacrest, sporting some bright pink and blue/teal tresses.

The new multicolored hairdo' seems to fit the star's spunky personality quite well. Looks like Spears digs the do' herself - following her appearance at the iHeart festival in Las Vegas on Friday (Sept. 21), she took to the streets of L.A. on Monday still sporting the rainbow-esque look.

Spears seems to playing it safe in regards to fashion ever since joining the judge's table for the second season of "X-Factor," but it's nice to see the fun (not necessarily crazy) side of the "Toxic" singer come out every once in a while. Fellow "X-Factor" judge Demi Lovato has sported similar hairstyles throughout the "X-Factor" singing auditions - wonder if the 20-year-old will attempt to one-up Spears' new rainbow do'?
