If you remember the ending of last week's episode, a ton of characters were packed into the Cadi, thus allowing plenty of tonight's episode to take place within the building without losing any substance. Hood and his deputies are there, but so are Proctor, his attorney, Gordon's assistant, the former skinhead Bunker, and plenty more. But all of these people just means there are more targets for the Red Bones.
Hood manages to secure the building with an emergency system blocking all of the windows and doors, but all of the phones (and cells?) are down. Bunker gets hired when he shows some initiative, though Gordon's assistant, Alison Medding, doesn't trust him because of all of his tattoos.
Chayton demands Billy Raven and Proctor in exchange for the shooting to stop. Hood contemplates handing over Kai.
Fortunately for Kai and Billy, Hood doesn't accept the deal. This leads to the power getting cut, meaning the gang is in a blackout now! Siobhan and Lucas head down to the basement to figure out the generator. Bunker is watching the exposed basement door while Hood reassures the civilians.
Lucas and Siobhan get the generator working, so the rest of the episode isn't in the dark. Meanwhile Chayton's men have bigger guns now, shooting through the gates. The bullets end up killing one of the Red Bones in a jail cell and Proctor's lawyer who was trying to free his client. The other Red Bone starts choking out Medding as Proctor frees himself with the dropped keys. Though he was going to leave her to die, he has a change of heart (probably because he's falling in love or his mother is dying?) and saves her. Plus, the hole created by the gigantic machine gun gives Lucas the opportunity to effortlessly take out the gunmen.
It looks like Bunker might bleed out, but he's standing strong at the only open door of the building. As Chayton and the Red Bones start to pull down one of the gates, Hood and Proctor decide to call a truce and then stand together against their assailants- all intercut with scenes of Kai's mother fading into death.
Bunker eventually wins over Medding with a sad childhood story of how he got into "the movement," but has to deal with the Red Bones discovering the door he's guarding. Medding actually saves his life, too (with a shotgun that she definitely doesn't know how to use, but whatever!).
With Brock and Siobhan both putting Hood in his place, he decides to head out on his own to make up for his sins in a way, but Proctor goes instead. We hear him take only a few shots and then nothing. Checking back in with his mother, Rebecca gets a talking to from her dying grandmother amidst eerie Pennsylvania Dutch chants.
With a lull in the action, Siobhan asks Hood if any of their relationship was real. We, the audience, know that he truly does have feelings for her, so she opens up a bit and starts asking him about his real life. This leads to Hood asking if she'd leave with him. She asks for his real name and he whispers it in her ear, so we don't get to hear it.
Raven tries to negotiate with Chayton, leading to an arrow in his chest. Deputy Kelly gets him out of the way in time, but he can't really move. The basement door is broken and the remaining Red Bone from the cell (remember when that happened earlier?) is suddenly missing. Siobhan is attacked by him, but gets the upper hand with a machete. A MACHETE! Unfortunately, Chayton sneaks up on her!
With Siobhan in his grasp, Hood has no choice but to drop his guard. As he's knocked to the ground and starts fading, Hood witnesses Chayton killing Siobhan by breaking her neck. The Red Bones leave Hood.
