CW's 'The Flash' Spoilers: Will Grant Gustin, John Wesley Shipp Discover Mark Hamill's "Craziness?" [WATCH]
The CW network is reuniting two original cast members of The Flash in an upcoming episode. Will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Henry Allen ( John Wesley Shipp) discover the "craziness" of Jesse James (Mark Hamill) as he becomes the scarlet speedster's worst enemy, The Trickster?
In our first recap, Barry (Gustin)was struck by lightning and thrown into a vat of chemicals, After the particle accelerator explosion, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) have been studying Barry's newfound super-speed powers. As the scarlet speedster, the three have been working together to fight against the metahumans, who use their powers to harm Central City.
In our recent recap, Barry has been trying to clear his father, Henry Allen (Shipp) from a crime he didn't commit. Henry ended up in the prison hospital at Iron Heights after helping out Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) in his investigation. What Joe and Barry don't realize the person who framed Henry is standing right in front of them, Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).
As we previously mentioned, on his official Twitter account, the Star Wars actor tweeted, "Dreaming of dangerous, diabolically depraved new tricks is an unexpected holiday treat. Thank you @CW_TheFlash"
In an interview with Variety, Shipp reveals the relationship between James Jesse and Henry Allen in Iron Heights, "The only thing that's different - well, obviously I'm playing different character - but Mark's Trickster is now very much more seasoned. He too has been in Iron Heights, you know what I mean? So what we see out of Mark is a much more seasoned insanity. It's quite chilling, actually, and that craziness is passed on to the next generation - to Devon [Graye]. It's more fun and games."
