Ahead of its April release date, two teaser trailers have been released for Netflix's superhero series, Marvel's Daredevil. Building viewer anticipation to binge-watch this show, we finally get to see Charlie Cox in action as the blind lawyer Matt Murdock, and the costumed vigilante known as Daredevil.

As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was just a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals gave him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be the blind lawyer attending courtroom battles. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice protecting Hell's Kitchen from crime.

Here's our 5 thoughts on the Marvel's Daredevil teaser trailer:

5) He's All Kinds of Messed Up!

In the comics, whenever Spider-Man has his big battles, artist Todd McFarlane illustrated the wall-crawler with his costume torn to pieces, bloody cuts everywhere, and exaggerated his ripped muscles. Not only has the shirtless Daredevil actor been working out, you can tell he's been in one too many fights; probably lost some of them too. Very different from Boardwalk Empire, where Cox was usually seen wearing a fancy suit.

4) "You Don't Say His Name!"

I just love this shot of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) standing in front of a white painting and we see his silhouette. This is part of an extended scene audiences got to see exclusively at New York Comic Con. Though we can't say more than that, trust us, seeing D'Onofrio in action as The Kingpin gave everyone in their seats all types of feels.

3) She's Gone Blonde!

Because I'm a huge fan of True Blood, I almost expected to see actress Deborah Ann Woll with her red hair. Woll appears to be in the same room with actor Elden Henson (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay), who plays Foggy Nelson. We can tell by their facial expressions that this is going to be a moody and serious scene, and it's going to be good!

2) The Little Details

In the comics, when Daredevil's hyper-senses go to work, they're drawn out visually n the panels. In capture that cinematically, I liked how Cox nudges his head, as if he's heading towards the direction of the sound waves. Notice how the camera lens are out-of-focus when Murdock focuses in on a conversation.

1) So Much Action!

There's an intense explosion, some shoot-outs, and hand-to-hand combat midway through the trailer. I got really excited when I saw Daredevil jumping back and forth against the steel crates, while dodging the bullets. He's even using his white cane in a fight. Did he just throw that guy out the window?!?

Marvel's Daredevil premieres on Netflix April 10.
