Reese Witherspoon Has A Baby Boy: Names him After Her Favorite State Tennessee
Reese Witherspoon delivered a baby boy! The 36- year old actress named her new born son Tennessee James Toth, after her home state. A rep told People, "Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled!"
Witherspoon has two children from a previous relationship with Ryan Phillippe, and now her bundle of joy comes as a first with her husband and talent agent, Jim Toth. The couple married in March of 2011.
Witherspoon is the next celebrity to give her child a sort of unique name for a boy, naming him after the state she grew up in. After moving there from Louisiana, she moved to Nashville and couldn't get enough of it. She later moved into a home in Ojai, California that resembled her upbringing in Tennessee. The lovely home that brought childhood memories to her was featured in Elle Décor where she dished about her past upbringing, "It reminds me of growing up in Tennessee, where we spent all day outside," she added, "I wanted my children to have that experience, to get muddy and hang out with the animals. ... It's like having a little bit of Tennessee in California."
The Newborn may never get to feel how cozy Witherspoon's "Tennessee in California" weekend home was, since it's now for sale, but Witherspoon will now have a daily reminder of Tennessee everywhere she goes.
