The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards is having trouble onscreen and off. The starlet has been dealing with sobriety rumors in the last couple of episodes of RHOBH, but it might be her life outside of the Bravo series that is even more interesting, as she is currently in the throws of some legal drama surrounding her pit bull Kingsley. After the dog attacked Kay Rozario last year, the 80-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit against both Richards and Bravo.

According to Radar Online, Rozario has roped Bravo producers, under the name Evolution Film & Tape Inc., into the suit, as she says they are also responsible for the attack after they hired a dog trainer to correct the canine's poor behavior, which was shown on episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The Inquistr is reporting that Kay's attorney Bill Zuhdi stated in the suit that Bravo was aware of the dog's dangerous behavior, making them at fault.

"Evolution knew that the representation that it made about Kingsley, claiming that he was not dangerous, were false. Evolution had prior knowledge the dog was dangerous and that the dog has previously attacked a person on the set of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills PRIOR to the broadcast of the episode."

It seems that the production was hoping to get the lawsuit thrown out, by stating that they had "no involvement" in the attack, and "they bore no responsibility over Richards' handling of the dog and that it's a stretch to imply that they should have."

However, according to Radar Online, Judge Andre Birotte, Jr. was not moved to dismiss the case per Bravo's request.

"Defendant's Motion to Dismiss the now-inoperative Complaint is MOOT, and the Court DENIES Defendant's Motion to Dismiss the original Complaint," the statement from Birotte explained.

Rozarios lawyer also spoke out about the decision, saying, "This is the first legal hurdle to overcome and Kay Rozario anticipates her day in court with Evolution and with Kim Richards."
