The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: Did Robert Kirkman Reveal Major Death?
AMC's The Walking Dead is a show on which no one is safe, and any character could be killed of at a moment's notice. But did series creator Robert Kirkman purposefully reveal a major death in the series?
[WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE WALKING DEAD COMIC BOOK AND SERIES AHEAD. TURN BACK NOW IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW.]
Last chance, this is a major spoiler about one of the most iconic moments in the comic series.
Kirkman appeared on Chris Hardwick's @midnight and was asked to provide some fake spoilers on the show. But instead, he responded with an exact detailing of Glenn's death from the comic book's 100th issue.
"Eventually a character named Negan is introduced and he's going to bash in Glenn's brains with a baseball bat called Lucille," Kirkman said. The statement elicited gasps and shocked noises from the crowd.
Earlier in the game, Kirkman had said that Maggie and Eugene would die in the next episode. Lauren Cohan and Josh McDermitt, who play Maggie and Eugene, respectively, were also on the show and provided fake spoilers.
"It's a comedy show!" Kirkman joked. He also offered a fake spoiler of the survivors finding a functioning Chili's and watching the canceled AMC series Low Winter Sun.
