'SNL 40': Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin Shout-Out Tracy Morgan During 'Saturday Night Live' 40th Anniversary
Sunday night, Feb. 15, during the live anniversary show of SNL 40, Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin gave a shout-out to their 30 Rock co-star Tracy Morgan, who was missing in action due to his injuries he previously suffered in a car crash last summer.
According to Entertainment Weekly, "I wish my friend Tracy Morgan was here tonight, and I know that he was hoping that he was well enough to be here, too," comedian Fey said.
Baldwin also commented: "Tracy would have been the first to accurately express how thrilled we all are to be a part of television history."
Baldwin tried his best to impersonate Morgan as Fey added, "If he were here tonight I am sure Tracy would remind us that more than anything, he would like to get us all pregnant. See you at the 41st, Tracy. We love you."
MStars News previously reported that Morgan is still recovering from a car crash in which he injured his legs and had damage to his brain. The crash took the life of his friend and writer comedian Jimmy "Mack" McNair in June 2014. On another subject, Kanye West "freaked" everyone out with he debut of "Wolves" during Sunday night's show. West played many roles Sunday, performing, interrupting the Today Show and being pushed back into his seat during a sketch with "Wayne's World." During West's performance, he started off flat on his back, singing "Jesus Walks," moving into the song he wrote for his late mother and his daughter North West, "Only One," then debuting "Wolves" with Sia and Vic Mensa.
