Brittany Kerr, Jason Aldean Make out Session "Lapse In Judgement:" Apologizes For Kissing The Married Star [PHOTOS]

Brittany Kerr apologizes for kissing Jason Aldean in a Sunset Strip bar. The American Idol alum released a statement saying, "The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part," she said. "I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends and family."

Aldean who is married also said that his partying ways is what led to the drunken kiss after getting caught outside an L.A. bar. The star took his apologizes for his fans and family to facebook, "I wanted to talk to you directly, so you were hearing the truth from me and not just reading allegations made about my personal life on gossip web sites." The country star added, "The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. "I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that's the end of the story."

The "My Kinda Party" singer married his high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery in 2001 and has two daughters with her. Kerr received backlash from Aldean's fans who called the recent American Idol contestant a "Skank" and a "Homewrecking whore."

Both stars are very embarrassed and haven't been seen together ever since the incident. A very sorry Aldean took responsibility for his actions and later stated, "I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support."
