Coach Louis Van Gaal this week spoke about United's goals in the FA Cup this year and how important today's match is.
"It is a fantastic competition. I have already described that we have to play for the third time a lower team, and you know the world is against you, the environment is against you because everyone is with the underdog," he told the press. "It is more difficult to accept but it's like that. However, the chance that you can survive is higher because you are playing against lower qualities."

Meanwhile, coach Simon Grayson this week spoke of today's match as an opportunity for his Preston to go head-to-head with living football legends.
