Perhaps complimenting his opponents today or simply just commenting on the supposed "favorites" to win the Champions League in 2015, Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho this week told the press that people shouldn't consider Bayern Munich and Real Madrid the top ranked in the tournament.
"I don't agree at all that they're favorites, because the Champions League always has space for surprises," he told the press this week, also revealing that he'll be starting Diego Costa, who just returned from a 3-match ban. "You go through the last decade and see teams winning the competition who you expect to win, but you also have teams you don't expect to win. You can balance it almost 50-50. You have three or four teams people would not be expecting. I really don't know the candidates when it goes to the knockout stage. At the moment there are 16 candidates for me."

Meanwhile, PSG coach Laurent Blanc was a bit more focused on his plan for today's game.
"I think defense is not just the key to [this] game, but for all big matches. Last season Chelsea managed to score an away goal when we couldn't - that's how they won," he explained. "Both teams will have a lot of very talented creative players, but the paradox is that it's the team who performs the best defensively who will have the best chances to win and qualify."
