Adele's James Bond theme song for "Skyfall" leaked today. The singer confirmed that she has co-written and will perform. Though British star was skeptical about taking that responsibility for films opening she said, "There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song," she said on James Bond website. "But I fell in love with the script. ... It was also a lot of fun writing to a brief, something I've never done which made it exciting."

Adele teamed up with "Rolling in the Deep" co -writer, Paul Hepworth to help with the work on the theme song which was recorded in London's famed Abbey Road Studios. A short excerpt of the song leaked and Hepworth tweeted in excitement: "I hear a short excerpt of Skyfall leaked... I can't wait for everyone to hear the whole thing because Adele's performance is jaw dropping."

After turning the rumor mill several months ago that the singer actually completed the movie's theme song, she teased her fans Monday, revealing a picture of the music cover page that shown the credit names Adele - as A. Adkins - and Hepworth.

For the 50th anniversary of the first Bond Movie, "Dr. No" Adele will release it on her website on Friday and pre orders on iTunes are available now. The movie's trailer shows Mr. Bond kicking butt of course and blowing up whatever is in his way. The movie is set to premiere in Great Britain on October 26th. The last theme song was performed by Alicia Keys and Jack White for the "Quantum of Solace." Adele has some big shoes to fill.
