After Peterson retired from football, he dedicated his life to helping out others in the community. His nonprofit the Adrian Peterson Foundation is set up to help kids in need.
Peterson's college career for Georgia Southern was from 1998 to 2001, and he was a running back for the Chicago Bears from 2002-09.
The Petersons have three other children.
