'Teen Mom 2' Jenelle Evans Custody Battle with Mother Barbara Evans: Find Out What Led To the Shocking Confrontation!

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has had a drama filled few weeks of fighting since getting engaged to Nathan Griffith, but now the MTV star is battling her mother Barbara Evans for custody of her son Jace. However, her mom will not let go of her grandson easily.

According to Radar Online, the fight started when the reality star's son claimed his grandmother said he can call her "Mom." Jenelle went ballistic after hearing this and confronted her mom. Barbara told her that the Jace "can call me whatever he wants," and her daughter shouldn't be "brainwashing him."

"Barbara said that her grandson shouldn't be around Nathan because of his tendency to drink," Radar reported. "[The source] insisted that neither Jenelle nor Nathan have been partying since their engagement last month."

The blowup led to the mother of two taking drastic measures by filing for full custody of Jace.

"Barbara didn't take her seriously [at first]," the source said, "but then when Barbara finally got served last week, she got mad."

On top of the custody battle, Barbara is now not letting Jenelle visit her own son anymore.

"Barbara's excuses keep changing," according to Radar. "When Jenelle asked last week why she couldn't see Jace, Barbara said, 'Well, you're taking me to court, aren't you? Alright then, you aren't seeing Jace' - then she hung up on Jenelle."

"She used to pick him up from school and he would sleep over, but that hasn't happened in over a month," the source continued.

As MStars News reported, Jenelle's volatile relationship with her mother seems minuscule compared to the fights with her fiancé. The latest being after the vacation they took in the Caribbean where the reality couple got engaged.

"Jenelle and Nathan were arguing about the St. Thomas drama with his friends," a source told Radar. "Then it turned into Nathan calling girls to piss Jenelle off. Nathan got carried away by being over friendly with random fans online and girls from high school."

The two are now back together, but should Jenelle focus on trying to fix her relationship at home before bringing Jace into it?
