Bobbi Kristina's Car Crash Victim Remains Hospitalized And Mute as She Remains on Life Support
MStars News has learned that the man involved in a car crash four days before Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her bathtub is still in the hospital as well as listed under "serious condition" and is mute.
According to Hollywood Life, Kristina sent Russell Eckerman to the hospital when the car she was driving lost control and collided with the Ford Taurus Eckerman was driving.
Eckerman's family lawyer Alan Herman updated the site on his client's condition.
"He [Russell] remains hospitalized. The family has asked me to convey to you their wish for his privacy," Herman revealed.
The accident that happened Jan. 27 sent Eckerman to North Fulton Hospital, the same hospital Bobbi Kristina would be taken to days later.
Kristina was moved from that hospital to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, where she remains on life support, as family members of Kristina banned her so-called husband Nick Gordon from the hospital and the townhouse the alleged couple share.
During the wreck, Kristina claimed she had a blown-out tire to the police, but they still charged her with "failure to maintain a lane."
Eckerman's mother Bert Eckerman revealed the following statement below to ABC News:
"Russell is a great, caring son, and this was a terrible tragedy. He was on his way to work when he was met with this tragic incident. Please respect our privacy as we pray and wait for Russ to heal."
Eckerman's family lawyer revealed that he has a close relationship to the victim.
"I have known the Eckerman family for the past 33 years and am very sorry that this incident has occurred. Russell used to baby-sit for my children when they were youngsters. Russell was on his way to work when this incident occurred. He has been hospitalized since the date of the occurrance and has been unable to speak. His medical condition, as I understand it, is serious, but everyone is hopeful that he will recover and get back to being Russell," Herman explained.
Let's continue to pray for Bobbi Kristina and Mr. Eckerman.
