This week, Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers praised his opponents ahead of this match
"They've kept their momentum going over the last five seasons. They've found themselves in the top four and deservedly so," the manager said. "With 13 games to go, it would be a big step for us to get a result. We know we've got the quality and confidence to go there and get a result. We need to keep edging towards it [the top four]."

Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman spoke of today's challenge during a press conference earlier in the week, explaining that holding on to top players is hard when bigger teams show interest.
"We know our position at this club. When clubs like Liverpool and those kind of teams [come in for a player], it is always difficult to keep them," he explained. "We know that but it's not a problem. It is a part of football and always happens. It is up to us how we bring in new players and continue what we would like to do."
