'The Americans' Season 3 Spoilers: Will Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Holly Taylor Deal With Paige's "Setup?" [WATCH]
Season 3 of The Americans continues with the spy couple going on their new mission on FX. While trailing their latest target, Kimberly (Julia Garner), are Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and Philip (Matthew Rhys) Jennings ready to deal with Paige (Holly Taylor)'s "twisted setup?"
In our recent recap, Philip and Elizabeth went after the head of the organization through his daughter, Kimberly (Garner), a young girl around Paige's age. Introducing himself as Jim, Philip was able to gain Kimberly's trust by getting fake IDs for her and her friends. On their date, with YAZ playing in the background, Kimberly put her arm around Philip's neck and rested her head on his chest.
The night was also Paige's birthday, and she even invited her pastor and his wife. At first, Elizabeth thought the party was going to be sad because Elizabeth doesn't have any friends. Then, Paige dropped a major bombshell at the table; she wanted to be baptized. Knowing Paige is becoming more assimilated by the American culture, Elizabeth realizes her own daughter set her up.
In an interview with Wall Street Journal, Taylor reveals what Paige's rebelling will lead to, "My first thing was, "Oh, God." I just knew that that would be another huge roadblock for Philip and Elizabeth - and for Elizabeth, mostly, trying to tell her who they really are. And I want that to happen. So I was like, "Oh, no! Don't do that, Paige! I just want you to know who you are already!" It's such a good idea for the story line, because it's unexpected, and it does cause a lot more conflict, so, I thought it was interesting. Very well played."

The 17-year-old actress adds, "In a twisted way, I think it is [a form of rebellion], because of who her parents are. And the fact that they haven't really made it easy for her to do something that's considered so pure and something that's praised upon in American culture. If you go to church, then that's a good thing. In her house, that's not a good thing. So that makes it her act of rebellion."
