'Slender: The Arrival' PS4, Xbox One Gameplay 2015 Release Dates Announced [WATCH VIDEO] Iconic Survival Horror Title & Meme Coming To Next-Gen Consoles Next Month

Gaming developers Blue Isle Studios this week announced a brand new chapter of the widely popular Internet meme sensation that is Slender Man. The studio's PC video game, Slender: The Arrival is getting PlayStation 4 and Xbox One 2015 release dates next month, introducing the horror survival game to the Next-Gen consoles. According to IGN (via Eurogamer), the developers saw some "big sales" with the original release of the game, so the plan to bring this to Next-Gen consoles was pretty much just the next step in the game's chapter. This will be a digital only release that won't make your wallet too light, either. Slender: The Arrival has a price tag of $9.99 on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

This game will be available on March 24 on PS4 and March 25 on Xbox One.

If you've already experienced The Arrival on PC when it was originally released, this upcoming version of the game has a brand new story! Here is the official synopsis of this new story according to Blue Isle Studios' official announcement of this new release (via Gamasutra):

In The Arrival's all new storyline, Lauren is in search of her friend Kate, who recently has become increasingly obsessed with the folklore of Slender Man. Was Kate's disappearance the work of Slender Man? Use Kate's forgotten flashlight to explore abandoned houses, creepy mines and dark forests to unravel the mystery - all the while being stalked by the menacing presence of Slender Man.
