Leonard Nimoy Dead: 'Star Trek,' 'Fringe' Actor Dies at 83, Twitter Fans Offer #RIP Condolences To Mr. Spock [WATCH]
Faithful to the sci-fi genre and loyal to the fans who made him a legend, Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy has passed way at the age of 83. Twitter fans went straight to the social media site to express their #RIP condolences to the Fringe actor who played their favorite character, Mr. Spock.
According to The New York Times, the iconic Star Trek actor died at his home in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles. Recently hospitalized earlier in the week, his wife, Susan Bay Nimoy, confirmed his death, which was due to end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.The Star Trek: Into Darkness actor attributed to the disease to his previous years of smoking.
On his official Twitter account, the 3 Men and a Baby director sent out his last tweets and shared beautiful words from poetry.
