Larry David ‘60 Minutes’ Interview Outtakes: ‘Fish in the Dark’ Broadway Play Star Jokes with Charlie Rose About Aspiring to be ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Character [VIDEO]
Last night, 60 Minutes aired the much-anticipated interview with Larry David, creator and star of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Earlier today, the CBS series released some outtakes between David about Charlie Rose during their conversation about the Seinfeld creator and Fish in the Dark Broadway play star and writer. What we took away from it is that LD really, really, really wants to be like his character on his HBO show.
Of course, who can blame him? Well, we guess some people can...
After discussing the fact that David is great at psychoanalyzing himself, Rose delved into the two questions he wanted to ask the comedian: who is Larry David, and why?
"I think Larry David is the guy you see on Curb Your Enthusiasm," David told Rose.
And it looks like the latter didn't quite agree.
"That's who you aspire to be! ... You know what your friends say? 'Sweetheart,' 'Kindest guy I know.'"
Despite the disagreement, David assures Rose that the sweetheart is the act. Do we believe him?
