Rapper Nelly Drugs: Detained For Heroin & Marijuana Seized From Tour Bus: Cops Raid The Bus After Dogs Detect Drugs

Rapper Nelly has been detained in Texas after law enforcements found 10 pounds worth of weed and 36 small bags of heroin. In addition to the massive amount of drugs a .45 caliber pistol was found.

While driving by a routine border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca a police canine detected the presence of drugs on the tour bus.

According to TMZ, police pulled the car over and performed a search and found .64 ounces of heroin and over ten pounds of marijuana inside a large green duffle bag. During the search Rapper Nelly and six other people were detained.

Authorities say, Brian Keith Jones, one of Nelly's passengers on the bus admitted that the drugs and gun were his and was eventually placed under arrest. The Six other passengers including Nelly were all set free. jones is currently awaiting a bond-hearing which is expected to take place today or tomorrow.

In regards to celebrities attempts to smuggle drugs pass the borders, Hudspeth County Sheriff Office spokesman Rusty Flemming said, "You would think after a few celebrities get busted here the word would get out before you go there they might want to throw the dope out the window, but for some reason they don't."
