'Mortal Kombat X' 2015 Gameplay Spoilers - 18 Confirmed Fighters Announced, Rumors Hint At More!

There have been plenty of opportunities to find out which characters are premiering and returning in the upcoming 2015 video game Mortal Kombat X, but we've compiled a list of the 18 confirmed fighters for the upcoming gameplay, as well as more rumored "kombatants" that could appear in the Netherrealm title. We're more than certain both of these lists of names will change as the April 14 release date gets closer and closer, but as of this week, we have a list of 18 confirmed characters that you'll be seeing in the new Mortal Kombat title.

Some of these characters were announced in their own gameplay trailers while others showed up in different ways, such as a story trailer. Either way, these new and returning characters are officially part of the 2015 chapter of the franchise (via IGN).
