Russell Crowe, Danielle Spencer Separate After Nine Years Of Marriage: Due To Crowe's Busy Film Schedule
Russell Crowe and his wife of nine years Danielle Spencer, who is an Australian singer decided to separated after nine years of marriage. The couple married in April 2003 in a chapel at Crowe's farm in South Wales. The recently separated couple have two sons, Charles, 8, and Tennyson, 6.
The cause of the spilt is due to Crowe's busy film schedule, which has kept the Sydney star away from his family for most of the year. In the next twelve months Crowe has six films coming out for release, including "Man with the Iron Fists," "Les Miserables," "Broken City," "Man of Steel," "Noah" and "Winter's Tale." Although the spilt is said to be amicable, their main concern is their children. The two have decided that Crowe will finish up with the biblical film, "Noah" while his wife stays with the boys in Sydney. The two first met 22 years ago before Crowe made it big on the set of "The Crossing." The "Gladiator" star briefly dated Meg Ryan before he went back to Sydney and realized that she was the one for him. After dating, Crowe proposed to Spencer in December 2002 saying, "The thought [of marrying her] crossed my mind the first time I met her."
The couples' rep has not yet responded to the media as of yet.
Its really sad to see a Hollywood couple part ways, but we're use to this by now. Mstarz readers, who do you think Crowe will start dating next? Also, do you think it will be a celebrity or a common girl from Sydney, Australia?
