'Once Upon A Time' Spoilers Season 4 Emma Swan Going Dark? Plus Charming Family Secret Exposed

Once Upon a Time has been weaving a pretty magical tale for viewers this season with the introduction of three of the most terrifying villains of all time and the whole Frozen storyline, but it looks like things are just getting started in Storybrooke. While Cruella, Ursula, Maleficent and Rumpelstiltskin are about to shake up the quaint little town, it seems that viewers were treated to a little teaser during last week's episode. It appears that the brains behind the show are setting up a pretty dramatic conclusion to the fourth season, especially when it comes to Emma.

Entertainment Weekly sat down and talked to the co-creator and executive producer behinds ABC's most spellbinding fantasy series to get the scoops on what's to come, especially in regards to Emma Swan's character.

"Emma's done a lot of growing over the three and a half seasons, so what happens when you find out that the person that was helping you grow might actually be as bad as the people you were trying to get away from," the creator explained.

However, not all hope is lost in this, as fellow executive producer Adam Horowitz says that Emma will find a friend in Regina, who will help her through this rough patch.

"Given what Emma is starting to go through and what Regina has gone through, there's a new common ground between the two characters that will help build on that friendship."

In related news, according to The Inquistr, it seems that the Charming family's secret is also going to be a huge part of tonight's brand-new episode.In addition to that, another thing that viewers will be getting a front row seat to is the budding romance happening between Belle and Will Scarlett.

Once Upon a Time airs on Sundays at 8 pm on ABC.
