'R&B Divas' Star Angie Stone Arrested for Knocking Her Daughter's Teeth Out; Singer Charged With Battery [DETAILS]

MStars News has learned that famous singer and R&B Divas star, Angie Stone (53), was arrested and charged with battery after knocking out her daughter's teeth during an altercation Tuesday.

According to AJC, Stone, a Grammy-nominated star, was arrested in DeKalb County after police revealed she hit her 30-year-old daughter, Diamond Stone, with a metal stand, knocking out her child's front teeth.

The DeKalb County police incident report states that the singer hit Diamond in the face with closed fists first. But a family friend and witness to Monday's brawl, Blondy Chisolm, said that it's unclear who threw the first punch.

Stone's daughter, Diamond, claims that the altercation started when her mother came into her room nagging her about cleaning up her room and calming her kids down.

The exchange of words became violent which resulted in the police being called. Fox Atlanta reports Stone was charged with aggravated battery.

"Ms. Diamond Stone then went on to state that Ms. Angie Stone started (getting) in her face, telling her she needed to leave because she is tired (of) her," the police report reads. "Ms. Diamond Stone then stated her and Ms. Angie Stone started to argue, and that's when a physical altercation started to occur."

Stone claims that she didn't know she struck Diamond with a stand. She claims that her daughter came after her when she tried to end the fight.

"Once she realized this," the report added, "she quickly put the stand down and attempted to get away from Ms. Diamond Stone. Ms. Angie Stone then stated while she tried to get away, Ms. Diamond Stone continued to come after her as if to strike her again but stated that Ms. Blondy Chisolm came to break up the fight."

Diamond's report is different from her mother's. She claims that she tried to walk away from the fight after being hit in with the metal stand to call police.

Diamond was also taken to the police headquarters but was released with no charges filed. Stone is currently behind bars.

Stone's troubles with the law first appeared back in 2011, whe she was arrested while driving to church after being pulled over for speeding and driving on a suspended license.
