From Emmy award-winning Mark Burnett (Survivor), Lucha Underground  presents episode 18 on the  El Rey Network. Ahead of its exciting premiere, Alberto El Patron, the former Alberto Del Rio, and Johnny Mundo, aka John Morrison, discuss what's coming up in the ever-growing roster.

Ever since launching his own network, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For filmmaker Robert Rodriguez  continues to entertain audiences with the upcoming Season 2 of From Dusk Till Dawn series. As we previously mentioned, El Rey rides into lucha libre, the no-holds barred world of freestyle wrestling and high-flying aerial maneuvers. In Mexico's most popular sport, the masked villains and heroes confront against each other in thrilling one-on-one matches.

In an interview with Wrestling Inc., after making his debut on the network, El Patron himself dishes if Rey Mysterio will consider joining the league, "It would be fantastic! I don't know if he is going to join or not because he already joined AAA in Mexico. We know that AAA and Lucha Underground are partners. That pretty much tells me we will see Rey Mysterio at some point in the future and it will be fantastic. We already have a great product and having Rey Mysterio joining the company would make it 1,000 times better. We already have the Latinos watching Lucha Underground. Now we will have superstars like Rey Mysterio and Alberto Patron that will make the American fans turnaround and watch the program because they know us from other companies."

In an interview with Pro Wrestling, Mundo describes having the company's faith in him, " I'm pouring a ton of energy into Lucha Underground and going out of my way to not even have the best matches that I can have, but have the best match I can have and then some. Taking risks and pushing myself to try things that I've never tried in WWE because they probably wouldn't have been allowed or the people that I was working with might not have wanted to go that far. To have free range and the responsibility and the trust to let me pull the wagons so to speak for Lucha Underground has been really rad."

Lucha Underground continues Wednesdays at 8:00PM ET/PT on the El Rey Network.
