'Bones' Season 10 Spoilers: Will David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel Split Over Booth's "Gambling Problems?" [WATCH]
While Bones is currently on hiatus, plans are already underway for the return of season 10 on FOX. Will past failures come back to haunt Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) as Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) tries to save his tortured life from his own "gambling problems?"
As we previously mentioned, the Jeffersonian team lost a longtime member, while welcoming a new addition at the same time. The tenth season premiere started with a major shocker as Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley) met a horrible death while trying to clear Booth's name. The mourning period began with Sweets' funeral and the introduction to his successor, FBI Agent James Aubrey (John Boyd). When the show returns, the death of Lance Sweets continues to loom over the Jeffersonian team as his birthday is coming up.
According to TV Line, showrunner Stephen Nathan promises "big changes are afoot" during the returning second half of the tenth season. Nathan continues, "We will be dealing with Booth's gambling problem and it will have repercussions for Booth and Brennan's marriage that will not be easily resolved."
The site also mentions actor Alex Skuby (The King of Queens) will be guest-starring as Gavin Chadwick, Booth's long-time sponsor at his gamblers anonymous meeting. Chadwick urges Booth to "share" about his problems during the meetings, insisting that it is a vital step towards his recovery.
Over on E! Online, footage of the main stars of Bones and the rest of the Jeffersonian team have been spliced together to react to fans' tweets about the torturous hiatus.

We mentioned before, '70s actress Linda Lavin will appear in the episode "The Verdict in the Victims." Lavin's character will be approached by Booth and Brennan, who have to stop an imminent execution after they uncover the condemned killer is actually innocent.
Bones returns Thursday, March 26 at 8pm on Fox.
