Hot off their appearance at Paleyfest LA 2015, The Flash returns from hiatus on the CW network. With Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) back in town, are Iris West (Candice Patton), Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) running 'Out of Time' with The Reverse-Flash's secret identity?

In our first recap, Barry (Gustin)was struck by lightning and thrown into a vat of chemicals, After the particle accelerator explosion, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) have been studying Barry's newfound super-speed powers. As the scarlet speedster, the trio have been fighting against the metahumans, who use their powers to harm Central City, but none of them realize they are being manipulated by their mentor, Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).

In our recent recap, Martin Stein (Victor Garber) explained his theory of time-travel to Barry Allen. There is a hole in the time continuum, but Barry believes he is destined to fail his mother on the night of her murder by the Reverse-Flash. After rescuing Firestorm (Robbie Amell) from General Wade Eiling (Clancy Brown), Barry realized he has a chance to change things if he's meant to go back in time.

As we previously mentioned, Mark Mardon (McIntyre) is out seeking revenge for his brother's death. In the pilot, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) shot Mark's brother in the back just as he was about to deliver his deathblow on Barry.

In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg reveals Mark's intentions, "I think people will probably be surprised at how good [Liam] is at playing the dark, evil character. We wanted a Weather Wizard who was more in control of his abilities and less beset by them...We've been really blessed with the Rogues, with the people that we've found and, hopefully, building up to one day having a real Rogues episode."

In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Gustin adds, "Yes. There's a twist with Harrison Wells and the Reverse-Flash storyline that no journalist has guessed -- I've never seen it online. It's going to I think really surprise everyone. And it's an original twist to the character that doesn't mess up the mythology."

The Flash returns tonight, March 17, 2015 at 8pm.
