CW's 'The Flash' Recap: 'Out Of Time': Will Grant Gustin's Barry Allen Stop Weather Wizard?

A new super villain from the DC Comics Universe arrives in an exciting all-new episode of CW's The Flash. Is Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) running 'Out of Time' as he tries to save Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) from the feeling the deadly wrath of The Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre)?

In the flashback, Clyde and Mark Mardon are on the run from the police. During their helicopter ride, the brothers are hit by the particle accelerator explosion. In the present, Barry is on a date with Linda. The two end up playing bowling with Eddie (Rick Cosnett) and Iris (Candice Patton). Linda and Eddie are noticing how Iris and Barry look at each other.

The Weather Wizard meets with the medical examiner to find out how his brother died. He tortures him to find out the name of the cop who killed his brother. While Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) are watching movies, the silent alarm goes off. While running, the Flash suddenly sees himself and freaks out.

Barry discovers the medical examiner was killed by hail. In the recording of the murder, Joe hears his named repeated by the Weather Wizard. Cisco thinks he may have something to take care of the Weather Wizard. Wells doesn't believe Barry actually saw himself while running.

With his life threatened, Joe has to stay put at the precinct. Eddie tells Iris he feels threatened by Barry; being the odd man out. During a rainstorm, the Weather Wizard strikes Joe's car with a bolt of lightning. Iris continues to investigate Wells and the disappearance of Stagg. Linda knows Iris has feelings for Barry, which is why she ruined their date.

Iris tries get info from Barry, but he doesn't want to answer. Cisco has the Wizard's Wand, which could slow down Mark. At the precinct, Cisco spots the Weather Wizard entering the building. During their standoff, the Weather Wizard throws Joe across the room, shatters the windows, and kills the captain. 

Cisco needs Caitlin to keep Wells away from the lab and uncovers a holographic projection of the Reverse-Flash. Joe hears from the doctor that the captain will not be able to walk again. Barry meets with Iris' advisor who describes Wells as a sociopath and has the evidence to prove it.  While searching through Mardon's hideout, Eddie is unable to save Joe from being grabbed by the Weather Wizard. 

Tied up and with a leg broken, Joe is being kept at the waterfront. After getting a call from the Weather Wizard, Iris heads out with Barry. Wells is standing right behind Cisco as he realizes his mentor is Thawne. For 15 years, he has been stick in different timeline and needs the Flash's speed to help get back. 

After calling him son, the Reverse-Flash kills Cisco. Iris finally tells Barry how she feels about him. The Weather Wizard creates a tsunami to hit the city. Barry puts on the costume in front of Iris and races to stop the tsunami.   

Running too fast, the Flash has sent himself backwards in time, reliving the day all over again.
