Travis Barker Profiled By The LAPD: Asked About Gang And Drugs
Travis Barker says he's been targeted by the LAPD as a drug dealer and gang member. The Rocker was pulled over and "profiled" by the police while on his way to pick up his daughter in L.A. on Wednesday.
Reasoning for him being stopped was because he did not have a front liscense plate on his personal decked out Chevy. The drummer's celebrity was not recognized and the Barker's rep says that the officer noticed the tattoos, "then accused him of having drugs and weapons in the car."
Barker let the officer search the car, but did nott find any drugs on him or in the car. Barker's rep also claims that the officer accused the musician for having gang affiliations. Just a year ago, Barker had a similiar issue with the LAPD and both times recieved tickets for his tinted windows and liscense plate after being profiled.
An LAPD rep said that they are willing to sit and talk with Barker about the situation whenever he wants.
