CW's 'The Flash' Cast: Doug Jones' Deathbolt Meets Grant Gustin, Danielle Panabaker In Episode 22! [WATCH]
The CW network has announced a new DC Comics super villain making their way onto The Flash. Will the scarlet speedster, Barry Allen (Gran Gustin), and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) be able to work together to stop Deathblolt (Doug Jones) in the upcoming episode 22, "Rogue Air?"
In our previous recap, Martin Stein (Victor Garber) explained his theory of time-travel to Barry Allen. There is a hole in the time continuum, but Barry believes he is destined to fail his mother on the night of her murder by the Reverse-Flash. After rescuing Firestorm (Robbie Amell) from General Wade Eiling (Clancy Brown), Barry realized he has a chance to change things if he's meant to go back in time.
In our recent recap, while the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) kidnapped Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), Cisco revisited the scene when he first met the Reverse-Flash, discovering a holographic projection. With the truth out in the open, Wells revealed his real name is Eobard Thawne, a distant relative of Eddie (Rick Cosnett). Though Eobard thought of Cisco as a son, he still had to kill him. With Cisco lying dead on the floor, the Flash suddenly found himself running backwards in time, a day before these events happened.
TV Line reports that the Pan's Labyrinth actor will make his debut as the DC Comics baddie Deathbolt first on Arrow. Then he will make his reappearance on The Flash's penultimate episode. In the comics, Jake Simmons is a wanted murdered, who can absorb and control electrokinesis.
The Strain actor shared a behind-the-scenes photo and tweets, "What could my "Deathbolt" villain from @CW_Arrow (# 319 "Broken Arrow") be doing on @CW_TheFlash (# 122 "Rogue Air")?"

As we previously mentioned, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), and Golden Glider (Peyton List) will be showing up in Rogue Time. After taking Caitlin hostage in their previous appearance, what will they do to Cisco? Does this mean The Rogues are coming back with an all-new member?
The Flash continues Tuesdays on the CW at 8pm.
