Jon Hamm Completes Rehab for Alcohol Before ‘Mad Men’ Final Season Premiere on April 5: Don Draper Booze Treatment Follows New GQ Issue
Did all the "drinking" on Mad Men put Jon Hamm into rehab? No, probably not, but it's being reported that the star of the famed AMC series has finished out his term in rehab for alcohol addiction––or at least struggles with alcohol. The news comes just after the release of his April issue of GQ, in which he discussed how Bryan Cranston, Walter White from AMC's Breaking Bad, helped him move on from Don Draper––the advertising, womanizing guru we've all come to reluctantly love over the years.
Thankfully, Hamm completed his rehab and is back to doing what he does best: making us all jealous of his good looks and charm. Oh, and his acting, too.
Reports from Gossip Cop note that Hamm checked himself into the Silver Hill Hospital rehab over in New Canaan, Connecticut for 30 days.
In a statement to TMZ, Hamm's reps said, "With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward."
And if we know the media today, we're pretty certain that the aforementioned privacy request probably won't happen. Which is, of course, sucks... tremendously.
The final season of Mad Men will kick off on AMC this coming April 5 at 10 p.m.
