The guys of the comedy team informed us earlier this week that $2 million was the minimum amount needed to get this project off the ground, and fans really stepped up to reach that goal! Check out our original coverage of the announcement of the IndieGoGo campaing right here!
"If we could cry, we'd be crying," an update from the gang stated once the minimum goal was reached. "Thank you so much. Sincerely. We can make the skinny version of Super Troopers 2 but I think we all want the muscular version so let's keep going."
With this goal met, the release of the comedy sequel can now reach a wider audience, according to Slash Film. So if you contributed to this campaign, congratulations and thank you!
We passed $2M and we've got 30 days left to Farva-size Super Troopers 2. (Should we tell Farva, you guys?)

So what can we expect now that more money can mean a better comedy experience?
"Our most important goal is to make the version of Super Troopers 2 you've been waiting for," the guys said. "The more we raise, the more we'll be able to spend on production."
They then listed a few things that could happen with more money:
- The ability to hire someone who knows how to operate a camera.
- Bathrooms for the women on set (men will still have to use the woods).
- Bigger stunts.
- Fancier cars to chase.
- Louder explosions.
- Cameos from real Hollywood actors.
... and more!
