Just like many other MLS teams this week, the Sounders are struggling with international squads calling on their players, thus forcing coaches to adjust their lineups. Manager Sigi Schmid this week revealed he isn't too worried about this.
"It shouldn't affect the match at all, because I think both teams pride themselves on their depth and the competition for spots," he said, according to the Sounder's website. "It's up to the guys who are on the field to do the business. ...We feel confident in the depth of our team. We've got players who can play, and it's their opportunity to step forward."

Meanwhile, Dallas' manager Oscar Pareja expressed his excitement over today's challenging match.
"I love it," the coach said, according to Dallas' official website. "I do, really, from the bottom of my heart, because it will make this team stronger. If we can get good performances with the players that have not been [playing] normally, the benefit is for the team."
