Arrow Season 3 Spoilers: Will Felicity Smoak Die This Season?
Season 3 of the CW's Arrow is rolling along, and the next episode brings back Charlotte Ross as Felicity Smoak's mother, Donna Smoak. But we have more pressing concerns at the moment.
The latest episode, "Suicidal Tendencies," ended with Maseo pointing an arrow at Felicity and seemingly firing at her. But is the bubbly fan-favorite character about to meet her maker? The "Spoiler Room" column at EW has the answer...sort of:
"Please tell me Felicity is not the one who is going to die on Arrow! — Keish
I promise you that she’s not going to die… from Maseo’s arrow. After that, I can’t promise anything, but it appears as though Ray Palmer will save her by taking the arrow himself since he lands in the hospital during next week’s episode—which is what brings Mama Smoak back to Starling City. 'Mom comes back to town to take care of her baby because she hears something is wrong and she wants to help her baby out,' Emily Bett Rickards teases. Sadly we won’t be finding out who Felicity’s dad is just yet. 'We talk about him. He’s mentioned, but no,' she adds."
In case you missed it, here's the description for next week's new episode, entitled "Public Enemy."
"DONNA SMOAK RETURNS — During an attack on the mayor's office, Ray (Brandon Routh) is critically injured. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is pleasantly surprised when her mother, Donna Smoak (guest star Charlotte Ross), shows up at the hospital to offer her support. With the SCPD out in full force looking for the assailant, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and his team work hard to stay onestep ahead of the police to find the man responsible. However, things come to a head when Ra's al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) kidnaps Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne). Dwight Little directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Wendy Mericle."
