In the present, Barry and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) think Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) is their prime suspect. Wells has been scary patient for 15 years to get what he wants.

Elsewhere, parachute bombs drop at a nearby park as everyone runs from the explosions. The Flash saves a young boy while the Trickster copycat  (Devon Graye) makes his video, spreading his message. Harrison remembers running and losing his Speed Force when he traveled back in time.

A special cell was set up for James Jesse as he sits behind a glass all. James is mad someone has stolen his formula and turned it into a gimmick. Joe and Barry's need the Trickster's help to find the copycat. Barry and Joe find the Trickster's hideout and jump after falling into a trap.

Barry promises Henry (John Wesley Shipp) he is closer to finding the real killer. The Trickster is mad the copycat is stealing his legacy and name. Inside the hideout was a bomb big enough to to destroy Central City. The Trickster breaks down after seeing the pretender wearing his mask.

After snapping at Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Wells knows Barry is dealing with his father's prison visit. In a flashback, Wells remembers being with his wife, who names S.T.A.R. Labs. The Flash meets with Irish (Candice Patton), who's worried about her mentor.

In his new video, the copycat Trickster shows off his bomb and where it's planted. The bomb isn't where it's supposed to be. The copycat created a diversion and the real target is the prison. The Tricksters actually teamed-up to take Henry hostage.

With a cop's father as a bargaining chip, Trickster has been planning 20 years for his masterpiece to reunite with his son. In the flashback, Wells crashes his car and screams for help. Back in the present, Barry is worried about his father.

At the Mayor's ball, Trickster takes the stage and tells everyone they are poisoned.  After Iris makes a call, the Flash makes a run  for it. After the Tricksters put the bomb on him, the Flash has to run at 600mph or he will explode. The Flash runs through a wall, phases through, and lets the bomb drop.

The Flash gives the partygoers the antidote and saves his father from the Trickster's trap. Henry visits the lab and meets the crew, thanking Wells for everything. In the flashback, the Reverse-Flash takes over Wells and kills the original body.

The Flash visits Eddie and takes off his mask, telling him to protect Iris. The three are working together to stop Wells, the man in yellow.
