Watch: Green Day’s Twilight Debut Song for Breaking Dawn Part 2 [VIDEO]

Finally the wait is over. Green Day has released the music video for "The Forgotten," from the soundtrack of "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -Part 2" movie. The song video also features a few scenes from the film showcasing lead stars,  Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

The theme of "The Forgotten" is emotional and romantic. The music video shows Robert playing the piano for his young daughter as Kristen watches them. Meanwhile, there are glimpses of Kristen performing some thrilling actions sequences, jumping off waterfalls and running in transonic speed followed by her vampire hubby.

The video also features the band jamming together.

Green Day's music video for "The Forgotten" was premiered on MTV, Tuesday, ahead of the release of the film. This song will mark the band's first contribution to a "Twilight" soundtrack.

Breaking Dawn -Part 2 will hit the worldwide screens on Nov 16. The last instalment of the Vampire-themed record-breaking franchise is directed by Bill Condon, who also helmed the Breaking Dawn-Part 1.

The release of the video comes in the wake of news of Green Day's frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, checking into rehab for substance abuse. The band has cancelled all future appearances for the year and postponed the dates for 2013.
