'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice First Prison [PHOTO]: Bravo Star Breaks Silence From Behind Bars – See What She Looks Like Now
Teresa Giudice might be behind bars, but that isn't stopping the Real Housewives of New Jersey star from paying the bills and getting her family on the cover of magazines. The 42-year-old has been serving her 15-month sentence in a Danbury, Connecticut, correction facility for fraud charges, but while she has been away the media has not taken a break from writing stories about the her and her family.
However, today the star is breaking her silence, well through her lawyer that is, and she is opening up about being in prison. In the new issue of Us Weekly, Teresa poses with her family including hubby Joe, and the couple's four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana.
While the cover cuts off two of the daughters (Gia and Gabriella), fans see Teresa with shorter, curly hair and minimal makeup on, posing for the photo op with her husband and daughters Milania and Audriana.
According to the magazine, Teresa might be breaking down inside, as she misses her family terribly, but Joe explained that she is putting on a brave face for the girls.
"She comes out with her smile, with a little wave," Giudice explains of his wife.
However, while Teresa seems to be holding it together, at least on the outside, for her family, according to E! News Joe can't help but breakdown after seeing his wife in this situation.
"I cry more than the girls," Joe revealed. "I pretty much cry every time I leave. Like a little baby."
While Teresa might not have given quotes directly to the magazine, her lawyer relays some messages from her to the news outlet.
"I miss Joe and my girls terribly," the starlet told her magazine through her lawyer. " We are going through this as a family one day at a time. We will be stronger because of this. Nothing can break us apart."
