'RHONY' Season 7 Premiere: Bethenny Frankel, Jason Hoppy Drama – Ex-Beau Bans Party in Shared Tribeca Apartment
The Real Housewives of New York has yet to premiere, but it looks like tomorrow's opening episode has already started to bring the drama, mainly for Bethenny Frankel and her ex Jason Hoppy. While fans can't wait to see Frankel return to the small screen along with LuAnn De Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and the rest of the RHONY cast, it doesn't seem like Hoppy wants any part of watching the episode.
According to Radar Online, Bethenny's ex-hubby has even gone to the extent of banning the housewife from watching the show in the Tribeca apartment that they still share.
"Bethenny wanted to have a few close friends over to the Tribeca loft she shares with Jason and Bryn to watch the RHONY premiere on Tuesday night," a source explained to the news site. "The show starts at 9 p.m. and Jason didn't want to have an apartment full of people on a school night disrupting Bryn's sleeping."
Her ex flat out told her to take the party elsewhere, which reportedly didn't make Frankel too happy.
While Bethenny and Jason have ended things, they are still sharing the apartment as their property agreement is still in negotiations.
"The property settlement, including the apartment, is still being hashed out" an insider explained. "Neither Bethenny nor Jason wants to give up the apartment. It's straight out of War of The Roses."
However, it doesn't look like Bethenny is letting her problems with her ex get her down too much, as the star was spotted over the weekend soaking up the sun in Miami with a male friend, according to People.
The Real Housewives of New York premieres tomorrow at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
