Paul Walker's final film may have been his most successful. Furious 7 opened with a bang this weekend by raking in millions upon millions of dollars. Here in the United States the movie wracked up $146.5 million while globally it took amassed $392.3 million. With the huge box office numbers Furious 7 broke records by joining the ranks of the top 10 biggest openings in U.S. history and what's even more impressive is that every other movie on the list is based on a comic book or novel. Furious 7 is the only completely original concept and now it joins the ranks of the Avengers, Twilight and the Spider-Man franchise.

Other movies on the list are Iron Man 3, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, the Dark Knight Rises, the Dark Knight, Hunger Games: Catching Fire and the Hunger Games.

That wasn't the only record breaking top ten list Furious 7 made it on either though. It's officially the number one opening day movie for a Universal Studios produced movie. By leaps and bounds it has taken down Fast and the Furious 5 & 6, Fifty Shades of Grey, Despicable Me 2 and the Lost World Jurassic Park.

Furious 7 was such a monumental success that one theater in Queens, New York was forced to stay open all night long because demand for the movie was so high. AMC's Ryan Noonan told the Hollywood Reporter that staying up all night was the theater's only option since customers kept filing in.

"Our theaters don't want to end the night on a sellout, so as long as guests are still filling up the auditoriums, we keep the doors open and the popcorn hot."

Here's what fans of Furious 7 had to say about the final Paul Walker film:
