Donald Trump Twitter: Has No Regrets Over Nasty Tweets Against Obama Re-election

Donald Trump has said that he has no regrets over his post-election Twitter tirade.

"The fact is that there's a large group of people who like Donald Trump and what Donald Trump says,"  Trump told Business Week. "I have no regrets."

He had deleted some of the tweets but they were already making news around the nation.

Trump, explaining what led him to throw a sting of jibes in Twitter, post re-election of Obama, said to the magazine that he did so because it seemed that Obama had won the Electoral College vote but not the popular vote.

Trump was one among Republican Mitt Romney's supporters who took to the micro-blogging site to vent their anger after President Barack Obama was re-elected this week. He called the latest US elections as a "total sham and a travesty."

And the real-estate mogul went on to slam the President, virtually contending that America was fragile under Obama's watch and the other countries were celebrating his victory as he would make America weaker. "Russian leaders are publicly celebrating Obama's re-election. They can't wait to see how flexible Obama will be now," he wrote on Twitter.

"No surprise that all the foreign countries are celebrating Obama's win. They love a weak America that they can rip off," he tweeted.

Earlier, Rocker Ted Nugent termed all those who voted for Barack Obama as "pimps, whores, fools and welfare brats."
