Taylor Swift Wins Big At 2012 MTV EMA Awards: Singer Loves Feeling Like A 50's Housewife

Taylor Swift's winning streak continues as he racks up big at the MTV Europe Music Awards without any Kanye West interruptions.  The Country star won three awards alongside Justin Bieber. 

The singer strayed away from her more modest style to a sexier mature look wearing a diamond shape cut out Mendel dress. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, the singer said, "There's just something so feminine about a dress," she said. "Whether it's a summertime dress that makes me feel carefree, an evening cocktail dress that makes me feel fancy, or a vintage dress that makes me feel like a '50s housewife - which I enjoy feeling like, for some reason - I just really like dresses."

Even though the singer has so many favorite dresses she wants to wear more than once, tabloids and paparazzi prevents the star from recycling outfits. However, it doesn't mean that she can't find another dress similar to wear now, but it hasn't always been that easy for the star when several years ago. When Swift was 15, she was heading to her first prom and wanted to wear Gwyneth Paltrows's 1999 Pink Ralph Lauren Oscar dress, but had a very difficult time finding a an identical dress, "I was 15 and going to prom for the first time, and I saw that picture of Gwyneth in the pink gown," she said. "I went all over the mall and showed it to all the store owners and said, 'Do you have anything that looks like this?' And no one did. So there's that. That's a sad story for you.

Well, Swift may not be crying over that dress anymore since she as other important events like the Grammy's to worry about.
