'Justified' Season 6 Finale Spoilers: Will Timothy Olyphant's Raylan Givens "Shoot Bad Guys In Paris?" [WATCH]

Based on the crime novels by the late author Elmore Leonard, the Season 6 finale of Justified finally aired. Much like the revival of The X-Files, will Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) return down the line in an all-new limited series, as he "shoots down the bad guys in Paris?"

In our previous recap, Boyd murdered an innocent man, (guest star Shea Whigham), who drove him to the mountaintop. During his intense shootout with Raylan, Boyd then filled Constable Bob (Patton Oswalt) with lead, distracting his former best friend. With Bob's status unknown, Boyd had an explosive confrontation with Zachariah. Ava (Joelle Carter) was finally captured by Avery's corrupt police officers and held hostage.

In our recent recap, Boyd threw dynamite to escape the marshals as he blasted his way through Avery Markham (Sam Elliott) to get to Ava. Though Raylan was tempted to pull his gun, he decided to arrest Boyd instead. After an intense shootout with Boon (Jonathan Tucker) left him wounded, Raylan was unable to stop Ava from escaping.

In the four year jump, Raylan is a happily divorced father taking care of his daughter. Knowing Ava is raising Boyd's son, Raylan promised to keep her secret and falsified her death. In prison, Boyd and Raylan realized they are still best friends, ever since they dug coal together.

In an interview with The New York Times, Olyphant shares his thoughts on the show ending, "Now is not the time to ask me because this time, every season, it's like thank God, it's nice to take a breath. Talk to me in six months when it's supposed to be time to go back to work. But there's very little doubt in my mind that we got off the air when we should have, or at least in that setup with those people. Because I'm going to put an asterisk by it: If someone calls me a couple years from now and asks me if I want to do another Raylan, I bet the answer would be yes. There's a follow-up question, which is for how much? [Laughs.]"

The Scream 2 actor reveals if he would step back into Raylan Givens, "U.S. marshals are federal; they can go anywhere. I've been pitching this for six years now - I kept saying, 'You know, Raylan could go to Paris.' They're like, 'Hey this year Ava's going to run,' and I was like, 'Great, to...Paris?' And they said, 'No, just up the hill.' Look, it would be a lot of fun to do some sort of whatever they call it these days - limited series, mini-series. I'd gladly take the gig."
