Little Orbit, the video game development studio that gave us Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom last year, has just officially announced a brand new title based on the Cartoon Network series from Pendleton Ward. Entitled Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations, this upcoming video game will be in 3D and will come out on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Steam. Read more about this new title and its gameplay below!

This new title is an adventure game that consists mostly of puzzles and interacting with the inhabitants of the Land of Ooo, according to Kotaku.

Here is a synopsis of Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations via IGN:

Set around the middle of the sixth season of the show, Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations features a focus on exploring, investigating, and puzzle-solving. Thanks to the discovery of an assignment printing machine called the "tickertype," Finn and Jake decide to become detectives like Joshua and Margaret - Jake's parents. Finn's sword will see a bit of action too, allowing you to fill the Tree House treasure room full of enemy drops.

You can check out some great in-game images from this new title over on the PlayStation blog!

Finn & Jake Investigations has a Nov. 2015 release date, which is a year after the other Little Orbit Adventure Time title hit shelves. Perhaps we can expect an annual event from the developers?
