Mendeecees Harris Headed to Prison Before Televised Wedding? Yandy Smith's Fiance Facing 8 to 10 Years Behind Bars
It looks like that fairytale wedding that Mendeecees and Yandy Smith Harris were looking forward to in May may not come! MStars News has learned that Mendeecees is possibly facing a long time behind bars after allegedly admitting to drug trafficking.
According to Democrat and Chronicle, the Love and Hip Hop star "pleaded guilty to narcotics conspiracy in front of U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci Jr." Tuesday afternoon.
The site claims that Harris revealed that he was "involved in a drug trafficking operation that between 2005 and 2012 shipped cocaine and heroin to the Rochester region."
In an agreement made with federal prosecutors, Harris has to hand over all of his earnings from the hit VH1 show, and paid appearances.
"He's paid after every episode airs. That money, which the federal government will keep, has totaled more than $103,000," Harris' attorney Donald Thompson explained.
As for right now, Harris was released on a $600,000 bail package, and is facing "8 to 10 years in federal prison and/or a fine ranging from $15,000 to $5 million," Thompson revealed, adding that the reality star could face four or five years of supervised release.
MStars News previously learned that Mendeecees' brother, Tyrus Harris and Ronald Walker pleaded guilty in the case as well. Walker is currently serving 10 years behind federal prison bars.
The only good news out of this situation is that Mendeecees isn't going to prison before his wedding. His sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 31 at 3 p.m.
Hopefully Yandy will walk down the aisle to marry him. The couple just welcomed their second child together, a baby girl named Skylar. Mendeecees has two other sons from previous relationships.
They also have their on spin-off show coming to VH1, The Harris Family.
MStars News believes that Yandy Smith Harris will be sticking by her man because it appears she definitely has his back like the video below.
But if Mendeecees does go to prison, Yandy will probably be singing this song below.
