Kim Kardashian Ex Kris Humphries Apologies, Tries To Explain Controversial Tweet About Bruce Jenner
After catching flack for his insensitive tweet about Bruce Jenner following the reality star's 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer, Kris Humphries hurriedly apologized for being "vague" and tried to clean things up. While the rest of Bruce Jenner's family and celerity friends were tweeting words of encouragement and support, Humphries wrote, "Man, I'm glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou."
Humphries, of course, was married to Kim Kardashian for only 72 days in 2011 and spent lots of time with the Kardahsian-Jenner clan.
Though the sentiment seemed pretty clear, Humphries took to Twitter again after criticism began to roll in to clarify what he meant.
"I have and always will support Bruce hence #gottadoyou. Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way it came across," he later wrote. Along with a single tweet that said, "#FullySupportBruce."
Despite his best efforts though, members of the Kardashian family are still not happy with Humphries.
"She wants to chew him out," a source close to Khloe said during an interview. "If she can't do it to his face she will do it on the show or via social media."
It makes sense, considering Khloe's often the most protective and vocal about her family.
Also, during Jenner's interview, he revealed that of all of his kids, Khloe is the one who took the news the hardest.
"Khloe's been very emotional," he told Sawyer. "She's had the toughest time with it because she's had a lot of losses in her life."
On the other hand, it's Humphries' ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, who's been the most supportive of his transition.
"It's tough on them I understand that and I wouldn't rush that issue," he said, of telling his family. "Kim has been by far the most accepting. She said 'girl you gotta rock it ... baby you're representing the family and you've gotta look very good!'"
