In the first trailer for the new 2015 Woody Allen movie Irrational Man, we watch how a young college student played by Emma Stone can change the life of an ailing professor played by Joaquin Phoenix. Like most Allen films, we're getting the idea that Phoenix is portraying the director's latest film version of himself, and we're a bit worried about the romance side of things, considering the age difference. With that aside, we get a great new glimpse at the latest film from an iconic director, so check it out below!

Also starring Parker Posey, this new film has been pretty secretive, as have all of Allen's prior films. This first movie trailer definitely gives us a great look at the latest from the king of quirky romantic comedies.

The movie was so under-wraps that even Posey was kept out of the loop on most of it. She was apparently only given about 20 pages of the script and was surprised once production moved past what she knew of the story.

"I had no idea what the exact mood of the movie was," she to EW in a new profile piece on the film. "I had no idea how I fit in or how the other characters thought of me."
