With today's match possibly being the most important of the season, Jose Mourinho addressed the fact that star player Diego Costa probably won't play due to injury.
"It's not been a setback but it just isn't worth the risk," he said, according to The Guardian. "In this process, in the last month, if we lose a game and we don't want to lose a second match, he will be back immediately. But, because the results in the last month were always victories and a draw against the team in second [Arsenal], we don't need to rush him. Meanwhile, Palace coach Alan Pardew shared his strategy for today's game.
"Our solution this week has been to work hard. Work on our fitness levels, our technical skills and our team shape. On Tuesday we stopped doing ball work and did some running," the manager explained, according to Sky Sports. "I think they enjoyed that! They will dominate possession and the two thirds of the pitch that we have to defend, but we carry a threat. We've got to try and produce a performance that doesn't get carried away in the emotion of the day."
